Brief and Initial Ideas

Brief:

To create the front cover and contents page a new music magazine using Photoshop.

Initial Ideas:

My initial ideas is to make a music magazine which is aimed towards 16-18 year old's. This is because the younger generation have a better understanding of the evolving music industry and what is currently happening with music artists. I was thinking of making a  pop and rock or classical music magazine-pop is a common type of music which is popular among teenagers and have different types of music arts and a pop magazine can have a broad range of designs.

After I analysed two different types of magazines; I have decided to not do a classical music magazine as I don't have access to the instruments needed and classical music magazines don't have a wide range of different covers, this makes the cover for a classical music magazine not as broad so there is less with what you can do with this genre. I have decided to do a pop and rock magazine because it is a popular type of magazine and there are many type of covers that can be done with it.
