How the media represents British society, culture and politics:

British Society:

Family - The typical family in britain is represented in the media as living in houses with 2/3 children and the parents
Houses - People either live in a house or flat
Men- The workers/providers, dominant, aggresive - ethinic minorities are under represented
Women - Vunreble, gentle, victim in relationship, faithful/loyal, forgiving
Teens - Useless, antisocial, obbssed with technology, wreckless and trend setters

British Culture:

Watch - watch sports (specially football), horse racing, competion shows on TV, royal family
Spare time - Watch TV, socialising over tea/coffee, drinking at a pub, shopping-consumerism, going out to eat/takeaway.
Treating other people - polite, overuse of please and thank you, quewing

British Politics:

- Democratic country, getting to vote, having a choice on brexit
- Island nation-isular(inward thinking)
 -Equal rights - quality of life for everyone, classim
